Camper Van Hire
Our campervans are all originals - they are fully equipped with a gas hob, cool box and double bed. Each van also contains all necessary cutlery, crockery, pots and pans, basic utensils, tea towels and clothes. We also provide all bedding and towels.
Each of our vans has a slightly different lay out:
Wilson – he is an original 1971 ‘westy’ (Westfalia). He has a front bench seat and in the back is fitted with lap belts and one chest seatbelt. He has a front hinged roof which allows children to sleep in the roof area. The roof bed is a good size for one teenager or two smaller children. The seats downstairs also convert into a double bed.
Papa Smurf – an original 1978 bay window camper. Ideal for a family with a large sleeping area in the roof as well as a full double downstairs. You can also walk through from the driving area to the back area which gives you a bit more additional space.
Herbie – 1971 VW Camper with a hi-top roof conversion – meaning that you can stand up in the back without having to put the roof up. He is only suitable for 2 unless you also take a tent. He has a very clever layout which also gives you lots of additional storage and if you can find his cooker without me telling you I’ll give you a prize!!

Blanche - is a 1978 devon conversion ie she started her life as a panel van and was then converted into a people wagon! She is only suitable for 2 as she has no seatbelts in the rear. She has a full width double bed and a roof that pops up in a recentangle which will allow you to stand up and give you a bit more space.
Caramel - She is the new kid on the block, and the youngest on our fleet, being from the last year of type 2 or 'bay window' production in 1980. She has a large sleeping area in the roof and a 3/4 double downstairs. She has only covered 80,000 miles in her 32 years.
The campers can seat four or five people. In the back there are two lap belts and if traveling with young children we can provide car seats (Britax) that can be fitted using lap belts (9mths plus). Please note that Blanche has no seatbelts in the rear so is only suitable for 2.
The campers have full breakdown cover so if anything does go wrong you have that security that you will be rescued - wherever you are.
