Campervan Travel Route Ideas

Here are a couple of itineries that I have put together to help you plan your trip.

North Highland Route
Across to Orkney

Of course there are masses of options to go for and you may want to plan your own route! If you need any help or advice then please feel free just to ask and I can give you what knowledge I have!

We have both travelled extensively in the Highlands so there are not many places that we haven't been to so if we can be of help we most certainly will try!

We are also experts on good places to eat and drink so if you are looking for that romantic dinner for two or perhaps just a good pub with good craic then just ask and we'll give you a few places to chose from.

If you are visiting Scotland or indeed the Highlands, here are a few places that you must see:

City of Inverness - the Capital of the Highlands and a must see for all visitors. Not only does it have all the shops and supermarkets but it also has a fantastic theatre - Eden Court, a great castle to have a look round and some excellent restaurants and cafes - www.inverness-scotland.com

The North Coast of Scotland and Orkney - if you have the time the wild north coast of Scotland is well worth a visit. There are some amazing beaches such as Bettyhill and also you will really feel as though you are in the wilds of Scotland. Orkney is very different to the north coast, the land is flat and very green and fertile. There is something for everyone to do and see in Orkney - see www.visitorkney.com for more information

The West Coast of Scotland - fantastic beaches, beautiful sunsets, the West Coast has a bit of everything - including midges! Armed with your midge repellent (which is supplied in the van!) sample the best of Scotland in some of the most well-known restaurants and pubs in Scotland
